Twistys is known as the place "where the babes are" and instantly upon visiting Twistys.com you can see why. Right from the beginning you can see that it is bustling page after page of some of the most beautiful women the adult industry has to offer. That was my impression from looking only at the first page of the tour. I can't say I stayed long though, I was already eager to see what the exclusive Twistys members club had to offer.
Upon logging in members are greeted with a very informative home page, which features everything you need to get the latest and greatest, that Twistys has to offer. The most recent photo and video updates are listed first, followed by a nice selection the Twistys Treats for the last 12 months, but more on that later. Further down the page is a listing of the top rated video and photo sets rounded out by a feature on the Twistys Treat of the Year, Bree Olson (2009) and several of her hottest picture and video sets -- a tasty treat indeed.
From there, members can hop over to the right of the home page and perform a "Model Power Search" to find exactly what sexy star they want to see. If you're like me and prefer to browse for something that strikes your fancy, you're in luck too. I usually like to see the freshest content a site has to offer so I was pleased to find that the Updates section was the first choice. The previous week of updates is listed first and members can plainly see that Twistys is committed to providing its members with fresh content on a daily basis. Each day there are at least 3 photo sets and 2 video sets uploaded. From here, members can browse further into the updates archive as far back as January 2007. If you like to see a bit into the future, or if you're really into being teased, you can click on the coming soon link to be taken to a preview of the next few days of updates.
The Treats link is especially worth a mention. Twistys selects a different gorgeous model each month to be given the title of "Treat of the Month" and releases several exclusive photo and video sets featuring the lucky girl. This month, the Treat is the beautiful Tori Black proceed by Sasha Grey, and Gamma Massy. This list goes all the way back to August 2005, so there is plenty of catching up to be done by new members. If the Treats section is the icing, the Models section is the very delicious cake that makes up the bulk of Twistys.com. Members can browse through a seemingly endless database of some of the most beautiful women in the world doing a seemingly endless array of naughty things. The default view just might be the best with a listing of the top 1000 models as voted on by Twistys members. Want to see only the newest models? The Fresh 100 link will be exactly what you need. Further, models can be browsed by name or searched using the Power Search feature, which allows you to hone in on exactly what you want to see by utilizing a number of options ranging from age to country.
Photo sets are where Twistys really sets the bar high. At the time of this review, the Twistys network boasts a massive database of 11,308 sets totaling over a million images total. To help you get through it all, the first page gives you a listing of the top 1000 sets as voted by members. Further, the database can be sorted by newest by update and Twistys network exclusives. The photo sets are of variable quality, most are professionally shot and as far as I can tell, all can be downloaded as complete zip sets which is always a nice feature.
The videos section is equally impressive and has identical navigation. Twistys has an impressive library of 2849 videos and the top 1000 should be plenty to get the party started. Even if you never left that single page, your Twistys membership would be well worthwhile if you ask me. Twistys has been around for a long time, so the videos on the site vary in size and quality as technology has changed over the years. The latest updates are broken down by scene with thumbnail previews. As of this moment, there is no streaming flash version of the video content which was surprising to me, but the videos can be downloaded in MOV or WMV format in Low, Medium, High Quality and iPhone quality. The full-length scenes are downloadable in the same formats as well. Some of the older sets do not include thumbnails and are not available in all of the formats listed above.
If you're a fan of hardcore porn and only hardcore, the Twistys Hard section is where you will want to spend most of your time. Information on the top of the page promises an additional 14 updates of exclusive scenes in HD per month, pretty good if you ask me. There are less navigation options in this section, but at the moment there are far less of the "Twistys Hard" content, so a list of the latest image and video galleries works just fine.
Beyond that, there is a discussion forum available to members, which appears to be fairly active. A quick overview revealed that several of the girls Twistys feature are members and interact with the members, which is always nice to see.
